The Champions League final
Now the most important European Cup is done and dusted!

We have the other final...............

I dont mind it if Man City win, even for all the obscene money and then the loopholes Man city and its owners use to bypass FFP and general dodginess!!! You can't take it away from Pep and that side, as on the pitch they are perhaps the best in the world.

Never discount any opposition in a Cup final one-off game though, especially Italians! But reckon City will do it easy and a 3-0 or 4-0 is on the cards.

This is rather like showing the B-movie/Look At Life after the main attraction.

I like the way city play and expect them to win, but they'll have to respect martinez, dzeko and lukaku (off the bench)

Very true Mike, tbh I dont think I have watched one of these since the Bayern Man U one 20+ odd years ago. But would hope an english club beats an Italian any day of the week as it boosts the indices that control how many clubs get into europe from each country, England must be heading for 8 now.

Two wop teams have been beaten in the European finals so far hope City make it three not for the plastics but for the die hard fans

Re: The Champions League final
Always had a soft spot for City... we get on a lot better with them than the majority of Northern teams... plenty of stuff on social media `West Ham City' with their badge claret and blue wanting us to win mid week.... back in the day their lads were the only mob that was welcomed into the Wakefield... cracking bunch... also had the little mob (used to drink in the Boleyn) that used to pop down a few times a season to watch us play... mainly as they loved watching the Bish.... so ... I hope they smash the Reverse gear merchants tonight... come on City

Should be a good game, happy for City to do it, it's about time, and think they will.

Despite all the goals Haaland has scored this season these are the games that they really signed him for. Let's see if he steps up.

Got to get behind City for all the reasons already stated. Also got to say I am very jealous of the way they play going forward. Yes, I know it's because they have a number of world class players, but it's also down to the manager and the way he works with them. If we could play with just half of the creativity and cohesion that they have, I would be over the moon.

I can see it being a tight, tactical game.
Inzaghi has a very good record in finals - I reckon Inter will nick it or win on pens.

I have well known family connections to City so yes I hope they win.

Re: The Champions League final
If Man City were playing AC Milan, Roma or Juventus I would want them to win but Inter have been my Italian team since 1990 so tonight it’s Forza Inter!

Not that I think they will win as Man City look too strong. Just hope it’s at least competitive.

No real horse in the race but English clubs winning in Europe helps English clubs in Europe (that's us) so City it is.

Re: The Champions League final
Add me to those who want City to win and likely all the reasons are already listed. I’ll be loving how devastating it’s going to be for the Man U fans to have their treble taken away.

It’s probably worth having a punt on Inter however unlikely as the odds are pretty long at 11-2.

Of course I’ll be supporting city but if they don’t win and West Ham United are the only winners of a major European trophy ,then vest la vie or as the french say That’s life.

Can't cheer for Man City but they should win with a bit in hand.

Re: The Champions League final
Def want City to batter Inter. 3 finals and to lose all 3 would make my week. Italians are so up their own arse about their football and league. We’ve also got a good connection with City (87)

Re: The Champions League final
I’ll be so disappointed if inter approach this the same way as Roma and Fiorentina. It’s just embarrassing to watch and so unfitting of such occasions. I guess they might think getting a city player sent off is the only way they can win.

If they do I hope they get absolutely fucking battered.
